In order to improve students' Chinese learning quality, provide a diversified Chinese display platform, improve students' Chinese recitation level, and stimulate their interest in learning ancient poetry and prose, in the third class on the afternoon of 29th May, the Chinese shorthand contest was held in Grade 7 of the Junior High School Division of the east campus. Three students from each class were selected randomly to participate.
Evidently, the contestants were full of spirit and passion with loud voice, clear and fluent pronunciation. After the intense competition, individual and group awards were selected, and awards and pennants were presented as well.
On the whole, through this activity, students not only consolidated their knowledge, but also appreciated the charm of traditional culture, which stimulated the enthusiasm of learning ancient poetry and prose, and created a strong academic campus atmosphere in the meantime.
